Clean out your house, listen to some great grade school music, and support Twice is Nice...all at the same time.

Rain or shine, Warriors will be waiting with a big truck in the corner of the LLHS east parking lot to accept your donations. Donation receipts available. Thanks for your generosity as we help keep our awesome friends at TiN supplied with donations. If you have an item that you wonder is appropriate to donate, please call the store at 920-674-6868 or go to twiceisniceresaleshop.com/donating

April 6-7 – Fine Arts Fair at Lakeside.  In addition to instrument, music, and proper black & red attire, each band student must bring his own music stand.  While stands will be provided for solos, they will not be provided for the group band.  If you need a music stand, please get one.  They are available for purchase at White House of Music.

What’s New?

Please continue to keep the Sabol family in your prayers.  Landyn was born with a cerebral arteriovenous malformation (AVM), which is an abnormal connection between the arteries and veins in the brain, recently causing an aneurysm.  To read more about Landyn's Story follow this link: https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/landynsabol

Our congregation is accepting donations of gift cards for the family as the Sabol's are staying at the Ronald McDonald House.  Gift cards for Kwik Trip, Culvers, McDonald's, Jimmy John's and other fast food restaurants would be helpful to the family during this time.  There will be a donation box in the office to accept contributions.

FAF "Stuff the Truck" is April 6

Clean out your house, listen to some great grade school music, and support Twice is Nice...all at the same time.

On Saturday, April 6, 9 AM to 1 PM, bring your clothing and household items, including furniture, to the LES Fine Arts Fest.

Group Band Change – Please mark on your calendars that there will be NO group band on Thursday, March 28, BUT everyone should bring their instruments on Friday, March 29 for group band.

Repeats

Lenten Service Room Pick Up – As we have been doing in the past, the students that are attending the 3:30 Lenten services will wait for you to pick them up. Grades K-2 will be in the 1st grade room; grades 3-5 will be in the 4th grade room. Grades 6-8 will be in the 7th grade room. If possible, please pick your child up by 3:20. Those not picked up will sit up front with a teacher.

Wednesday Evening Meals –We are asking for your help in regards to the Wednesday Lenten suppers. We are asking that the gym area be kept as a dining hall for the evening and not a gymnasium. People are coming back and forth, including the elderly, and we want to keep it as a safe environment for everyone. If students are running around and playing tag, they are not watching for those coming and going. Thank you for your help.

Social Media Presentation  - Officer Oestreich from the Lake Mills Police Department will be presenting on the dangers of social media and how it can affect your kids. The presentation will be given to the students in grades 5-8, and we encourage any parents that would like to attend from any grade level to join us for this presentation. The presentation will take place on Thursday, March 28 from 1:45-2:45. All are welcome to attend in the sanctuary.

Thrivent Choice Dollars – If you have a Thrivent policy and have not yet designated your choice dollars, please consider the school or church for your designation. The designation needs to be made by March 31st. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Gartner.

Yearbook: We need pictures to complete the yearbook. Grades 3,7,8 are in desperate need of candids. If you have candids from any (except the Harvest Hop) so far this school year it would be appreciated. Please email to yearbookspl@gmail.com

Register for Warrior Summer Camps  If you’re in 5-8th grade and like football, basketball, running, soccer, golf, volleyball, or STEM, Lakeside has a camp for you! These camps allow for quality instruction and fun competition among fellow Christian athletes at a reasonable cost during June and July. Start at llhs.org/k8sports

K-8 Extra footwear – We are asking that all students bring an extra pair of footwear to school for recess. It really helps in keeping the rooms and church clean when we can minimize the muddy traffic areas.
