125TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION THIS SUNDAY
Join us this Sunday for a single worship service being held outdoors at 9:00 am. Grades 4&5 will be singing.
No Sunday School this Sunday
No Bible Study this Sunday
Saturday and Monday Worship Services at 6:30 pm as usual.
The Sunday service will be outdoors with seating placed in the “site plan” of where we hope the new sanctuary will be located. We will have extra ushers to help as well as parking attendants. We ask that members and visitors dress casually, bring their own lawn or camp chairs, and their own umbrellas should there be a threat of rain or high temperatures.
Our grass has been cut and grass clippings are being raked. We are spraying for mosquitoes, however we still encourage insect repellent. Casual dress is also recommended. Ushers will be available to assist anyone requiring additional assistance navigating the journey to and from the front lawn. Stay afterwards for an ice cream social in the school gymnasium.
Our guest preacher will be a son of our congregation, Pastor Jonathan Bauer who is the founding pastor of a new mission in Mt. Horeb, WI. As part of our 125th Anniversary celebration, members will be given opportunity for an offering to support that mission.
During the time of the ice cream social, there will be an historical display in the lobby area, a display manned by members of our Building Committee with updated information about the new sanctuary, and an open house of our facility for the community.
Please note: There will be the regular Saturday and Monday evening services this weekend, but only one outdoor service on Sunday at 9 am.
