You may have seen stories in the news recently about the foster care crisis-- that there are not enough foster homes to take in the kids in need of care, specifically for sibling sets. This need for more foster homes is true throughout our state and our country. In Wisconsin, there are more than 7200 children in foster care, and in our country there are more than 450,000 children in foster care!
WELS Kingdom Workers is addressing this great need by
recruiting new foster families
building teams of people to support families who are fostering.
On Sunday, June 16th, the Kingdom Workers’ Foster Support Coordinator, Kessia Boche, will be joining us for a brief presentation between our worship services. For more information, you can contact her at 920-567-8163.
