It All Began With God
What is Your New Year’s Resolution?
It’s that time of year again! The New Year has come and so many people feel compelled to make a New Year’s resolution. In fact, it was reported last year that almost half of all resolutions made were in the area of self-improvement. Unfortunately, it was also reported that 92% of all resolutions made failed within the first two months.
One such resolution that should be at the top of the list is to daily listen to God’s Word through our daily devotions, and weekly church services. Only through His Word can our souls be daily restored and refreshed.
On our own, we too would fail at this resolution. We need the Holy Spirit working in our hearts to fulfill this resolution. How does the Holy Spirit work in our hearts? Very simply by sitting at our Savior's feet and listening to His precious Words of instruction at home, at school and at church every week. By doing this we're telling our children how important it is to hear from Jesus constantly. Put Jesus first in our lives this year and see where He leads you in 2019.
A VERY BLESSED NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL!
