TOWN & COUNTRY DAYS PARADE = We Need Your Help to Make a Positive Impression St. Paul will once again take part in the Lake Mills Town & Country Days Parade on Saturday, June 23rd. We need volunteers from the congregation to walk with our float during the parade (from approximately 9 AM - Noon) to greet the parade goers, hand out flyers and candy, and encourage attendance at our upcoming 2018 Build on the Rock Vacation Bible School. Did You Know? – Future Planning Committee (Part 2)

The Future Planning Committee (FPC) has developed a new Purpose, Values, Vision and Mission Statement for St. Paul which was adopted by the Congregation. Further, the FPC developed 10 year Targets, 3 year Pictures and 1 year Plans. The final items to be developed were recommendations to the Church Council in two areas; Ministry and Structure/Function.
The Structure and Function Working group was tasked to look at more of the administrative and operational functions of the congregation. They evaluated what we do, how we do it, and with whom we do it.
· The Structure and Function Working group developed recommendations for personnel and staffing needs in the short term, and for the future depending on what expansion decisions are made by the congregation.
· The Structure and Function Working group made recommendations regarding the hiring authority and supervisory responsibility for all non-called staff positions.
· The Structure and Function Working group, at the request of the Church Officers, developed a recommendation for the creation of a Ministry Operations Manager position.
· The Structure and Function Working group, after discussions with the Church Officers, made recommendations revising and streamlining the current administrative organization.
All of these recommendations have been given to the Church Council for their consideration. When the Council is ready, these recommendations will be brought to the voters for review, discussion and approval.
MALLARDS OUTING We have scheduled a fellowship outing to the baseball game between the Madison Mallards and Kenosha Kingfish on Tuesday, July 10. Game time is 7:05 p.m. We have the tailgate tickets reserved, which include a meal before the game. Cost is $20. Sign up and pay in the office by June 18.
