BIBLE INFORMATION CLASS:  Another Bible Information Class begins this fall.  The purpose of this class is to review the basic teachings of the Bible. It’s intended to help those who are looking for a home church to learn what the Bible teaches.  Members who are interested in going through a refresher class are also invited to join.  The day and time will be determined based on the schedule of those who sign up.  If you are interested, please sign up in the lobby.

CATECHISM MEETING:  There will be a class for all 7th and 8th confirmation students and their parents on Sunday, August 26th at 9:15 am in the church.  Please contact the pastors if you have any questions.

THE CHURCH LIBRARY is hosting a book giveaway this weekend.  Please take a look at the tables in the lobby and give a good book a new home!

NEWSPAPER INTERVIEW  At the end of July our pastors received a request to be interviewed by a reporter from the Cap Times. There's always a risk with such an interview, because our words could be misrepresented. At the same time, it's also an opportunity to publicly talk about our faith in Jesus. We wrestled with those two realities, and, after talking with some of the other leaders in our congregation and in our synod, we decided to go ahead with the interview. On August 8th our three pastors and nine of our members met with Katelyn Ferral from the Cap Times. We think we had an excellent opportunity to talk about God's Word and about Jesus as our Savior, and about how that shapes our lives in society. We're praying that's reflected in how the article turns out. The article is scheduled to be published toward the end of August.

WANTED: CUSTODIAN (Part-Time evenings)  St. Paul is looking for a part-time evening custodian (3-5 hours) to help maintain our lower grade classroom areas.  Primary activities will include cleaning of classrooms, pre-school and daycare rooms, and their bathroom areas.  Please contact the school office if interested.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY For the 2018-19 school year we are looking to hire a school-aged after school care position (3-6 pm).  For more information contact Allie Byers or Steve Gartner, 920-648-2918.

CONNECT GROUPS:  Have you noticed that there are a lot of people you don’t yet know in church?  Connect groups are a way for you to build relationships in a small group while also studying and discussing God’s Word.  This wonderful opportunity is coming soon, so watch for more details on when the different groups will meet and how to sign up.

WELS CONNECTION will be shown after every service.
