"CONNECTING THE DOTS" "Connecting" is the key word in our congregation's mission statement. Your Stewardship team is using that word for its theme "Connecting the Dots." When you do a "connect-the-dots" puzzle, you begin to see clearly a picture taking shape as a line is drawn from dot-to-dot. We hope that same thing can be accomplished in our ministry here at St Paul. Through video segments, quarterly mailings and newsletter content, we plan to "connect-the-dots" from your personal support of the ministry and you actually seeing the work of Jesus' kingdom being accomplished. Today will be our first effort of a video segment that puts you right in the middle of our Vacation Bible School offered earlier this month. May God bless the ministry of St Paul, as together we connect to Christ, to each other and to our community.
THE CHURCH LIBRARY is hosting a book giveaway this weekend. Please take a look at the tables in the lobby and give a good book a new home!
CITY PARK CLEAN UP - AWARD RECEIVED This past Saturday (8/18) St. Paul received the 2018 Rock Lake Stewardship Award from the Rock Lake Improvement Association. Each year an individual or group that has significantly contributed to improving the condition of Rock Lake is selected to receive the award. Thanks to our efforts at the City Park Clean Up in April, St. Paul has been selected for 2018. It has certainly been cold and back-breaking work the last several years but our attendance and efforts have not gone unnoticed. This event continues to be a great way to connect with our community by building relationships outside our congregation and serving the greater Lake Mills area. Thank you very much to all of you that participated!
