THANK YOU GOD: We give thanks to God for this past week of Vacation Bible School. He gave us his Word to teach. He gave us volunteers to help. Through St. Paul members he generously provided the food that we needed for snacks and the decorations that helped keep our focus. Through the publicity and efforts of members, children registered averaged 190 each day with 110 volunteer helpers. We thank all those who helped, all those who donated, and all those who attended. We also thank the children of the VBS for beautifying our worship this Sunday. May the Lord bless all of our efforts in sharing his Word to the glory of his holy Name. May we and our children always build our lives and hope for heaven on Jesus who is our solid foundation.
ATTENTION ALL YOUTH This is a shout out to the Youth Group (incoming 7th graders-12th grade) along with parents and especially our mentors and supporters who helped us get to the 2018 Youth Rally. We want to tell you all about our trip, our youth group and give you our calendar of events for the coming school year! Join us Saturday August 11, from 4:30-6:15 in the gym. We will have a picture presentation for those who did not attend so you know what to expect next time when the rally is held in Tennessee summer 2020! Games and snacks will be provided and we will be done in time if you plan to attend Saturday night church. See you then!
CHURCH PICNIC will be held today after the 10 AM service. Meat (roast pork), buns, beverages and table service will be supplied. Members whose last name begins with A-L are asked to bring a salad or side dish and M-Z are asked to bring dessert. Activities include bouncy houses and games.

Would you like the group to offer ample time for discussion and last one hour? A Connect Group--Bible Study Group might offer just the thing you desire! Watch for more information coming soon in early September!
PROJECTION OF WORSHIP At the end of last year, the Worship Sub-Committee provided recommendations to enhance worship. Among those was a recommendation to project the worship service as an alternative option to following along in the service folder or hymnal. This is a recommendation that has also been voiced individually by a number of members.
Beginning August 12th and running through October, we will be testing out this recommendation by projecting every Communion Sunday service. We'll try different options along the way and will ask for your feedback at the end of every service. Please take the time to let us know your thoughts, so we can determine the best way to proceed. There will also be an opportunity to get involved, if you feel this is a way in which you can serve.
ST. PAUL SCHOOL REGISTRATION will be held Tuesday, August 14 from 12:00 PM to 6 PM. Reminder: Blessed by members, hundreds of dollars in tuition assistance are available for St. Paul families in need. Speak with Mr. Gartner at registration. SCHOOL FORMS PACKETS are ready for pick-up. You may pick them up next to the large bulletin board outside church.
