JOIN US FOR EASTER BREAKFAST On Easter morning, we will be hosting a breakfast in the gym. Scrambled eggs, sausages, pineapple, milk and coffee are provided. We are looking for people to bring coffee cakes, hard boiled eggs and fruit or bagels with cream cheese. There is a sign up sheet near the library window and we ask that you bring it at the beginning of breakfast or leave it here Saturday evening.
EASTER OUTREACH Over 7200 fliers were mailed this week inviting the community to our Easter weekend as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. This is a great time for you personally to invite someone to come to worship. We have 400 fliers in the gathering area that are intended for you to take and personally invite a friend, neighbor or family member to come and worship. Tell them that you will save a spot for them and breakfast is on us that morning. May God bless our efforts to share the truth - "Christ is risen, he is risen indeed!"
A CALL MEETING was held last Sunday. The Lord led us to extend a call to Mrs. Rachel Kanter to be our 5th grade teacher. She currently serves at Atonement Lutheran School in Milwaukee. Please keep her and her family in your prayers as she deliberates as to where she would best serve.
EXAMINATION & CONFIRMATION We look forward to another class of young people confessing their faith in their Savior. Public examination of the class will occur on Wednesday, April 24 at 6:30 p.m. Confirmation takes place in the 10:30 a.m. service on Sunday, April 28. Remember our young people in your prayers as they take this important step in their spiritual lives! Sunday School and Bible classes do not meet on April 28.
A NEW DEVOTION CALENDAR is now complete. It was emailed in the Thursday post and also available in paper form on the table outside the library. If you don’t get email and would like a copy call the office, 920-648-2235, and it will be mailed to you.
