Over the past 24 months, we’ve been seriously exploring the possibility of expanding our facility. We’re excited to be able to share some of those plans with you here.
We moved to our current location in 2005. We have a beautiful location with over 23 acres of room to grow. But we were not able to build everything at that time. We built a school, a gym, and a fellowship hall that could be used as our temporary worship facility. The plan has always been to expand.
We’re currently working to see if that time is now. We’re excited at the opportunities God is placing in front of us, and we’re praying that God would guide us as we make plans for the future to keep serving the Lake Mills area with the good news about Jesus Christ.
The conceptual master plan below shows our current facility in gray. We would like to add a new sanctuary and gathering area on one end of the building (shown in purple below) and an Early Learning Center on the other end (shown in blue below). These plans haven't been finalized, and we're still discussing how much we'll be able to do at this time.
The pictures below are renderings of what the sanctuary expansion could look like. As with the master plan above, these have not been finalized. They're meant to provide a starting point for our congregational discussions. Some of the most precious hours of the week are when are we are gathered together as a family in worship! The facility pictured below would allow us to serve more people in a space optimized for worship, and would open up our current sanctuary as a multi-use space throughout the week.
The pictures below are renderings of what the Early Learning Center expansion could look like. As with the master plan above, these have not been finalized. They're meant to provide a starting point for our congregational discussions. God has been opening doors for us to serve young families in a growing Lake Mills, and we would like to do that even more in the future! The facility pictured here would allow us to expand our current preschool program and expand into childcare from infants on up.
